The purpose of The Ursula Smith Dance Academy is to provide a broad spectrum of technical training for aspiring dancers. Through a variety of creative platforms, students will expand their artistic expression and technical skills while integrating integrity and quality.

Students of the Academy are dedicated and committed to the development and growth of their knowledge of dance theory and technical skill. Through the USDA comprehensive curriculum students study various genres of dance such as jazz, tap, west african, ballet, dunham, horton, flamenco and afrobeat. USDA students also performs in annual productions and community events, we also travel to dance conferences and workshops. Auditions and interviews are required for placement for our Pre Academy level and Academy level
